My Papaw's in Heaven...

We have truly lost a wonderful person today....words can't express how much my papaw will be missed. We love you so much and I know you are soooo happy being back with Mamaw and your precious son Terry. God Bless you and I will see you in Heaven one day!

We are OK!

Luke looking at the sky and feeling the wind 12 hours before 'Ike'. We are still on a generator so as you can imagine my blogging will be spotty. We survived and are now in the clean up process. It wasn't fun and rest assured if we ever have another one that is larger....we won't be staying. Gas lines are miles long and we won't have electricity for weeks. I hope everyone I know is fine. My family and friends of have talked to are doing well.




These are very large palm trees in our front yard...they were almost touching the ground.

The marina less than a mile away. Boats are vertical in the water.


Gas station a couple of miles away....roof over the gas pumps was blown off.
