The marina less than a mile away. Boats are vertical in the water.
Gas station a couple of miles away....roof over the gas pumps was blown off.

We are OK!
Luke looking at the sky and feeling the wind 12 hours before 'Ike'. We are still on a generator so as you can imagine my blogging will be spotty. We survived and are now in the clean up process. It wasn't fun and rest assured if we ever have another one that is larger....we won't be staying. Gas lines are miles long and we won't have electricity for weeks. I hope everyone I know is fine. My family and friends of have talked to are doing well.

OH my gosh! I am so glad you guys are okay. My family is fine too. How did your Mom and Chuck fair in Ike. You guys are welcome to come to Dallas to hang out with us! :)
